Discover Project Transform in Vienna

As you may know or will soon find out, Cochrane has funded Project Transform to work with the broader Cochrane community over the next three years to improve the way people, processes and technologies come together to produce Cochrane content.  The Project Transform team has been working hard over the past months to ensure they will have plenty to showcase at the Cochrane Colloquium in Vienna. Here's the latest news...

If you’ll be in Vienna don’t miss these activities:

Special Session: Project Transform: bringing people and technology together for evidence production

This special session offers an in-depth introduction to the project’s objectives, progress and projected benefits for our Cochrane community. Come along to hear how Project Transform will address four key challenges:

>   finding relevant research in a timely and reliable way
>   developing pathways for potential new contributors
>   increasing the efficiency of working collaboratively
>   ensuring our content is relevant and up to date.

You'll hear more about each of the project’s four components and be able to participate in a Q+A session.

New pathways for people to produce Cochrane evidence: Getting Involved and Task Exchange

Sign up for this workshop for demonstrations of the prototype Getting Involved and Task Exchange platforms and the chance to roll up your sleeves and try out these exciting new tools.

Getting Involved is a crowd and task management platform that that aims to make it easier for people to get involved with Cochrane. You can be part of the crowd trying out our first tasks - RCT and DTA identification and description. We’ll also be looking for your feedback on the micro-training modules we are working on.

Task Exchange is Cochrane's new platform for sharing and getting help with review tasks. Have a task you'd like help with? Have some time or expertise to share? Come along and experience our prototype - sign up, post a task or contribute your skills.

Cochrane Exchange

The Project Transform team will be in Cochrane Exchange answering your questions about the project, demonstrating the Getting Involved and Task Exchange platforms, and looking for willing people to sign up and join our testing communities. We look forward to seeing you in our play space.
