Melissa Murano

Melissa MuranoMelissa Murano joined the Australasian Cochrane Centre in February 2011 as Project Administrator for the SEA-URCHIN Project (South East Asia – Using Research for Change in Hospital-acquired Infection in Neonates). SEA-URCHIN aims to evaluate the impact of a skills-based education strategy on rates of infection and death in the neonatal units of 11 hospitals in South East Asia.

Melissa also assists the Co-Directors with the business management of the ACC. Before joining the ACC, Melissa worked on the SEA-ORCHID Project at the University of Sydney and has supported various other research projects at the University of New South Wales. She has a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree and a view of the mountains from her home office in northern NSW.
