Learning Week 2017

Our inaugural Cochrane Australia Learning Week was held in early June, and proved a popular training intensive for 95 local, interstate and international participants. Throughout the week, eight full-day workshops explored all aspects of systematic reviews, research synthesis, knowledge translation and evidence production.

‘We’re so pleased Learning Week was such a success,’ says Cochrane Australia Co-Director Steve McDonald. ‘Most delegates attended one or two courses, while some really went to town and attended the full week’s offerings – so collectively we had over 200 registrations. Special thanks go to our colleagues from Cochrane Indonesia who travelled all the way to Melbourne to attend. We’ve received lots of positive feedback from many enthusiastic participants, and this will help to shape our future training programs.’
